Poorboy's World Super Slick Suds is some of the best soap on the market IMO...super concentrated, 128 oz jug lasts the whole washing season. Chemical Guys Citrus Wash is also another good soap. For waterless washing (water spotting after a rain shower) I use Poor Boy's Spray & Wipe and a few microfiber towels....works great on light dust/dirt. I also find Optimum and Zaino waxes to be some of the longest lasting polymer waxes on the market. And of course, Formula 303 for tires and trim.

As far as a power washer, I've had the same cheapo electric Simoniz 1700psi washer for the last 12 years and it works perfectly. I had to change o-rings on the gun tip once but otherwise it's been trouble-free. I think I paid under $200 for it new at Canadian Tire.

My husband and I use armorall for the leather interior and dawn soap and a bucket. The glass cleaner is also armor all. It does an amazing job but im also looking for a better much affordable truck cleaner

Not to sound harsh, but Armor All and Dish soap are probably the 2 worst chemicals for your vehicle.

Armor All will dry out your vehicle's vinyl, leather, and trim and allows it to bake in the sun with no UV protectant.

Dish soap will strip the finish off all the wax/sealants/etc. and will also dry out your vinyl and trim.

At the very least, use a dedicated vehicle shampoo and leather/interior conditioner. If you decide to use Adam's products, I'd use these:

Shampoo
Car Wash Shampoo | Car Wash Supply | Car Washing Soap

Interior Conditioner:
Leather Cleaner and Conditioner | Clean Auto Interior

So what should I use that's cheap and affordable. I have the time on the weekends to detail my truck. My husband takes care of ny kids while in at school and work.

What's your approximate dry time with this? Are you able to get the entire truck done and have zero water spots?

I never timed it, but I would say about 15 - 20 minutes, this includes drying the inside of the trucks bed. There are a few small water spots, I use the Adams detail spray with micro fiber towel to finish. I think the water here is real soft too, so spots have never been a problem.

Gotcha. I'm just trying to figure out if the Master Blaster is worth the cost if it really cuts the drying time down. But 15 minutes is pretty good! It usually takes me an hour and half to wash and dry from start to finish.

It was a tough decision, I washed my cars for years, and dried by hand. But the truck being so large, I thought man this really sucks. So I just figured screw it and bought it. Got off Amazon for no tax and free shipping. Wow, I won't wash without it now. The thought of going back to just a shammy give me anxiety. But I feel the same about the pressure washer too now, couldn't do with out it. I also us the water blade and that cuts down on time too.
