Hello all,
Just purchased a 2018 Raptor. Thrilled about the truck but a little disappointed with some things. Long time V8 owner but I did expect more from the twin turbo 3.5. Also experiencing some hard shifting from 4 to 5 and 5 to 6 gear in sport mode. I'm sure @GooseTuned is going to square all that away. I also don't know what octane is in it currently but will be running 93 on the next fill up.

Truck has 66k miles on it. New BFG ATs 315/70R17s....33.5" I need to start smoking the tires so I can run 35's.

Excited to be here and begin the research.

Also own 2002 Excursion 7.3 4x4.

Welcome. Great Truck, as I own one as well.

315/70R17 is closer to a 35, 34.4 or something I believe...... Its marketed as a 35

Sold the 96 a few weeks ago, after doing all the upgrades. Still have the X.

Welcome, You could always have the truck tuned to get some more HP. And the shifting issue is a common issue with Raptors, it really isn't a problem that will lead to damage. You can always re-do the transmission adaptive learning tables at some point. There is a thread here somewhere regarding the transmission. Most of all get out and enjoy her!
