The Raptor would not fair very well on the Rubicon. Lots of dents for sure. Would need winched a BUNCH. I believe it would totally wreck the Raptor. Totally different vehicles.

Jeep got both the Cherokee Trailhawks through there, who knows how much damage tho. If I was to get another Jeep, it'd be a Cherokee Trailhawk. Those things are nice on road and very capable offroad.

Even JKURs get damage to some degree. Mine did, several times on several trips there. It is on most JK and JL owner's bucket list. It's not on ANY Raptor's bucket list.

My previous vehicle was a trailhawk. I'm not an offroad expert by any means, but I did take it out ounce or twice and had no problems with it at all. Handled mud just fine as far as I could tell. The reason I traded it in was due to lack of cabin space and some engine noise mechanics told me wasn't a problem, but couldn't be fixed without tearing the engine apart.

It does sit up a bit higher than a regular cherokee, but not nearly as much as you'd normally get from an offroad vehicle. That was kind of a problem as high water isn't that uncommon around here.

When I left Moab the county was trying to cut a deal with the owner. I will find out when I return in September, but I don't think anything has changed. We have friends who live there all year, and they haven't mentioned anything, and I am sure they would as they used the area a lot.

That's really sad. We were down and did Rusty Nail, Golden Spike and Where Eagles Dare about a couple of months ago. Just talked to some friends who said BFE has been done for a while. Shows how much time I have spent there this year.
