#1 you are crazy running without a fuze......one wrong thing and your truck burns down.

#2 PAC AmpPro AP4-FD31 not ideal......you need the Zen to do it right....many threads on this
@goblues38 Power wire not hooked up. I didn't like the fuse that came with the kit being clear and tacky looking so I ordered one from SGS (not connecting to power till fuse is in)

Good to know about the PAC AmpPro. Since I haven't installed it yet would it be worth returning and just going for the ZEN since this has already finically spiraled out of control why stop now.

edit: ***JUST GOT THE ZEN, GONNA RETURN THE PAC***

So on my 19, which I no longer have, I fused it in the engine compartment, but I also put a breaker in the back so I could service the system without having to disconnect the wire every five seconds ,this was my first and last install ,a ton of work ,and a shit ton of money

Pretty, I really need to redo my amp rack. Trying to fit big amps behind the seat is so hard. Think I'm just gonna leave the seat out and make an amp rack on the back wall that wouldn't fit behind the seat. Think I'm about to get an 8K anyhow.

hell ya, I grew up watching all the Steve Meade & EXO contralto videos back in the day!
I've been watching his build for the last few years. I wastched one video today where he took his sister for a ride and showed her. She ended up with gum in her hair and a broken earing that fell out..hahahaha. She looks just like him, can tell they are related...lol.

So I orders the ZEN now, but now I’m debating the JL VX600/6i for its built in DSP or just getting a separate DSP

It’s a snap on ratchet but now I can’t unsee it being Pittsburg, it’s the same color and everything hahahah
