yea i feel like the sound processor was the biggest improvement, but after hours of tinkering with sound Measurment's .

So I like the idea of just JL for subs and Amps and Focal for speakers.
Is there any benefit to doing a separate DSP vs a JL Amp with built in DSP?

I don’t have a DSP yet and debating returning my amp and getting a VX400/4i or getting a JL DSP

if going jl audio, at least get a 600/6. run an active front stage. jl audio is middle of the road for sound. a dedicated processor is a better way to go.

dead on, I ran active with a dedicated dsp, it was a totally different system .it sounded as if the band was playing in front of u at a concert, without u could tell the sound was coming out the doors
