Why would Ford cheap out on 800a headlights on a 70k truck is beyond me.

Picked up my truck this morning. 800A, AMB. Today was the first time I have ever even sat in a Raptor after wanting one for 10 years. It was everything I imagined and more. The presence in person is impressive. The interior is beautiful and I just got the base package. The dealer was great, honored our MSRP agreement. He even showed me an email he received yesterday from a vehicle procuring service that offered him $10k over sticker to pull the sale from me. Thankfully he told him to pound sand. Today was a good day.

Congrats - felt the same exact way, really think's its unique and stands alone. Came from GMC/RAM 2500's w/ bds suspension, wheels, racks, etc + Tacoma TRD)

Same reason Porsche was charging 4000k$ for LED headlights on a $90k- $190k car when I was still there back in 2014... because they can and are in the business of making money

I’d say it’s simply to get you to bump up to 801 high. What else could it be?

Ok, that's what I'm thinking as well. Love bronze wheels in general and wish I went with that on my gen 2 LF. But with my ordered orange, think I'll go with black instead.

Bronze would look good with blue first and black always but not orange.

The headlights are LED and they seem to work fine but I agree that they should have the same as the 801

Finally picked it up, will have more, but have some side by sides with my Gen 2View attachment 320459

Gotta say, I definitely like the Gen 2 tailgate appliqué a lot more. The smaller “Ford” font just doesn’t look right IMO.
