First Raptor

So I just got my first Raptor. It is a 2014 Raptor. It has a road armor front bumper. I am trying to see if the holes on top could be used to support a winch plate. There was nothing there when I made the purchase so I thought I would get some opinions. Thanks

Looks like they are at the right height to be able to tie in behind the bumper and support whatever. Get r' dun!

What exactly is the “winch plate” in relationship to the winch?

Welcome to the place. Congrats on a gen 1 Raptor. Those tabs are for lights only and will not support a winch plate ever. If you want to add a winch it goes behind the bumper in-between the frame rails. You can buy the hidden winch plate as they call it, but you would have to cut a rectangular hole below your light to run the cover and rope/wire through. Good luck!
