When was the last time you updated the SCT device?

I just did about two weeks ago, it took over an hour to update and I updated earlier this year.

Just food for thoughts.

Also a weak battery, bulkhead connection and/or wires leading to it can cause issues.
Loose/corroded wires at the starter too.

My truck is a 2014 scab with 74,*** miles. The door sticker date says 12/13

Sorry, somewhere I read 5 Star, not realizing it wasn't your post.

Having said that, you're doing yourself a disservice not running a Tune, like from JDM.
Forget that PC.

I don't know if you have seen the posts where the Blue Tooth Pedal Commander has issues.
Some have suggested wrapping it up with foil to stop interference.

I was thinking you may have been part of the Transmission leadframe FSA, but that was only for 2011-2013 models.

Have you checked your transmission fluid? Ford published an SSM a while back relating to “abnormal transmission operation” caused by the radiator cracking and causing coolant to contaminate the transmission fluid. Your truck is within the build date range.

Have not checked fluid level in transmission.

See that’s the strange thing. I disconnected the pedal commander last month when problems started. Could it be the “damage” is already done?

When the PC is unplugged, nothing further can happen in relation to what it does.
