Nice, I've gone the hard way to Crown King in my Ranger but would be hesitant in the Raptor.....not that it couldn't make it but the width and rock crawling would have me worried about body damage, lol. I may try the way you went though. I got mine through AAFES as well.

Welcome AZ SVT,
and THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE!!!

Just for the record, you received a $4500 "discount" OFF MSRP and not a Ford Rebate.

ENJOY!!

randy

Thanks, Randy! The way I understood it was: Base discounted price was $36,412 and Ford had a $4500 incentive for active duty military overseas customers and $4000 for other overseas customers (DoD Civ., US Government contractors). When it was all said and done I got it for about $6000 under MSRP , (5.4L, tailgate step, bed extender, orange interior stuff, trailer break controller, 7/75 protection plan), delivered and out the door for $35,260 + tax. Below is an excerpt from my sales agreement.

OVERSEAS MILITARY SALES CORPORATION
MILITARY CAR SALES INC. 175 CROSSWAYS PARK WEST, WOODBURY, N.Y. 11797
Authorized Distributor For:
Ford Motor Company

Total Delivered Price .................39,260.00
Deposit In House......................1,000.00
Total Rebate............................ 4,000.00
Balance Due.............................34,260.00

You are right about the hard way! It's a cool ride in a jeep or small truck, or even a beater you don't mind rubbing on a few rocks. It's a little too early in the Raptor's life for that kind of stuff! Next month I want to go back up and fish that little lake up there.

I've done the "harder" way on an ATV, and I will NEVER do it again. It was so technical that it sucked all the fun out of the ride...of course I probably shouldn't have taken my RWD racing ATV. :hmm:

Welcome back, nice truck, and thanks for your service!!!
