Not to hijack but I'm in the same boat, first full day in my Terrain is today, I'm wondering how much does the mid perch raise the front end in inches from low perch, and does it negatively affect the IWE?

1 1/2 to 1 3/4, much better drive, gets rid of that floaty feeling, less nose dive under braking, all around best choice.

Also, the truck came with nitrogen valve stem caps, are the tires really full of nitrogen from the factory?

Also I have beadlock wheels, does it come with the beadlock ring? My dealer couldn't even give me my owners manual because somebody took it. So I know they don't have a real good clue, are the rings something you have to buy later? Or are they functional on the stock beadlock wheel that I paid for ?

If the OP wants me to start a new thread instead of asking newbie questions here just say so and I'll jump off his thread!

Buy a used one?

Nitro is not factory
Rings are what is called beauty rings. Need to purchase actual rings and remount tires. Off-road use only

Go back to the dealer and tell them they better get you a damn owners manual. Who cares if someone took it, they should replace it.

I put the RPG stage 3 rear suspension on and it eliminated that small oscillation you noticed. I was nervous about changing the rear suspension but they assured me that the new more progressive National Springs would ride better on the road and they were right. The springs are like $1000 plus install.

Nope she was brand new 2014.

Ok, so the real beadlock rings must be purchased ....

And they are replacing my owners manual, but they had to order one...figures!

Nitro is a dealer-add for Ford, OEM on others, like some Nissans. After seeing how long it stays in the tires without needing refill, I'd never have another vehicle without it. My nitrofill came with free roadside service and free tire repairs for a year.

Wheels are beadlock capable, but you need a Ford factory kit to make it happen. It was a legal restriction for some states apparently.

Better hound that dealer for the manual that he owes you!
