its brutal in cities with lots of snow, but highways its fine as long as the idiots in civics stay home. they have the odd closure of highways here, but they dont really enforce it.

Sort of wish MN would get a ton of snow. Instead I get to drive through an ice storm tomorrow to get to the airport, which is only terrifying because of the other people on the road.

Years ago we got a bunch of snow, and I rode a snowmobile through north Minneapolis on the streets while everything was shutdown.

The ban has been lifted for most areas. At 4pm all areas will be lifted. The ban was meant to allow the plow guys to do their job without a bunch of yahoos zipping in and around their equipment. In years past, the plows were spaced apart to allow traffic to pass. Now, they block the entire road and say . I guess it is meant to keep eveyone safe.
