Ride quality is lessened in the SCrew for bumps, humps and dips. Hate to say it, but after taking her through a construction site over and over again compared to Super Cab, the bumps, jolts, and dips just coarses through the body giving a bigger reverb than than the Super Cab. The truck cruises much more nice on the highway and does have more room yes. But how many of you are gonna buy the truck for it's performance use, fill it to the max with people then take it off road? The truck is great to look at and think that it's a "Raptor", but if you try to do the things with this truck that you tried to do with the Super Cab, I'm afraid that it will come out the loser.

SVT didn't want to do the SCrew from the get go, it messes with the performance dimensions of the truck too much. You have the same HP/TQ traveling more distance for the added length of the truck (Not a big loss by any means), bigger gas tank, more weight, and same suspension formula. The suspension has not been dialed in for any added weight so it rolls more with the truck.

The best analogies I can use are these. For the suspension, a pogo stick with a 16 year old, 120lb boy. Now get the dad who weighs a mere 200, and it doesn't function as well. Same concept with no change in the suspension from one truck to the other. The power, take the Mustang 5.0 or even Shelby GT500. Take the 2 door and make it a longer 4 door (Like Dodge thought it was ok to do with the Charger :jester:) Same engine, same trans and suspension and what do you have? Exactly, a very sporty looking sedan. Handling, performance, and usefulness is low. Will you ever take the sedan to the track? Drag race another 2 door mustang? Nope. Same with the truck.

The truck is amazing! I WANT ONE.... But only for the sake of saying that I own a Raptor if I didn't have one already. So my kids can open their own doors without me opening mine, and so I can sit in the back seat once in a blue moon myself (I'm 6'7"). Until I have kids, don't get car sick so I can sit in the back, and if I ever get rid of my Super Cab, I'll get one. Until then , my Super Cab can withstand 6ft jumps, haul ass round corners, scale the side of a tight rocky mountain, and do it all with no lag, body roll and limits that the SCrew has.

"200 pound difference" isn't much if it's rolled in a ball. The ball can still roll right through the corner. Take that same "200lbs" minimum and span it over 6 inches with no extra formula in the suspension and the truck will moan and curse the world to grab traction and turn. Try it sometime, if anything, everyone will here ya comin :roflsquared: It's just inertia and like I said in my last post, I race and I'm picky about handeling and performance. I grew up around it and live it every week, to the average hillbilly chevy truck lover, the SCrew is a dream on steroids. To YOU, the Raptor owner if you have the Super Cab already, even you will feel the difference. :Grenade:

"you must have played basketball" lol how many times a day do u hear that...i get it at least once a day.

I hate that with a passion. Sometimes I feel like saying, "And you must have been a member of the loli-pop guild?"

I reply, "I like golf." Which opens a new door to "custom clubs?" and "swing power?"

Midgets of the world obviously unite :jester:

P.S. If you are below 5'5", I'm sorry for what I said. If you stop standing in your hole, I wouldn't call you a midget haha

You tall freaks! I am 6' 2" and I am usually the tall one. When I stand next to anyone taller then me, I feel small.

So Aaron, are you disappointed with the Screw?
