I know this isn't really in your neck of the woods,....BUT Vancouver Ford, in Washington has always had Oxford White and Black Raptors for sale in their Lot. I've bought 3 cars from them so far...(2 Raptors fyi) PM me if you want a dealer's number..maybe he an help ya out!-Lou
I can say right now there's a Oxford White with graphics, blue interior, aftermarket wheels for sale. I was just there 3 days ago for a BBQ and an oil change HAHAHA

And the tailgate step is useless IMO and a waste and nothing more that a place for salt and ice to find its way into and rot from the inside out.


IMO The tailgate step is the best option on the truck next to air conditioned seats. Drop the step and blow it out with a pressure washer from time to time.
IMHO the most useless option is the moon roof. The tracks prevent a center roof mount antenna and when you get the shiny and rubber sides mixed up you are in for a hellacious glass shower directly followed by rocks, sand or mud depending on where you live.

Baja makes a good point with the sunroof. I liked it for the extra air flow, without the chop from having the windows open....but in an accident it is a liability.

I have had them remove the wheels as a requirement after reading the responses and doing more research. The dealer seemed to think this may make a big difference, so I'm holding tight for now on the rest of the specs. I'll contact who Raptor Embroidery mentioned and see if they may have a match on up there as well.

Thanks for the feedback, maybe we can start getting somewhere now! ...anyone interested in a BMW X5 4.8is? Only been in the shop twice this week!!

My advice - order and get exactly what you want. I have the exact same truck on order including beadlocks and I just received my VIN. If you are paying 50k+ for a vehicle get it exactly the way you want. My dealer has another allocation and I would be happy to put you in touch with them. - I'm in Florida.

That's my thinking too, enough that if we can't it from here we'll probably just get a 'normal' F-150. My concern is that I doubt that I could still order now and get it....I really don't want to be 3 months down the road and find that they shut things down and canceled all pending orders. If I could be pretty sure of getting it, definitely!

Raptorquestions - I just heard back from my dealer about your potential order and he said "it appears that we're done"

I ordered mine about 3 weeks ago and at that time they had one other guranteed Raptor order.

Sorry about the news. I would call around and see if you can locate a dealer that can accomodate you. - I ended up ordering a SCab but there were a lot of new white SCrews for sale on AutoTrader.

Gator Raptor - Thanks for running it down with your dealer, I still had it in the back of my head as "well, what if?" so that's one less thing for me to be thinking about. I'm going to put a used car dealer friend on it and see what he can find wholesale on the used market...I'd just prefer new as I feel like people have a tendency to abuse them slightly (only ever so slightly, when done right .

This X5's about to make me switch to something else soon either way....so if you drive past some grinning idiot in a F-150 waving at you in your nice shiny Raptor, wave back...it may just be me!
