the trx and tr will be big and heavy. I recently drove a customers trackhawk and was disappointed in build quality. Its literally a 100k$ jeep Cherokee with a 700hp engine stuck in it. Its the quality i would expect someone to build in their driveway. Smokes tires and sounds cool but doesn't actually do anything correctly, well, or right.
The trx or tr whichever is the offroad one will be a cool brodoser, starbucks, mud truck but i don't ever see it being similar to the raptors ability to jump, slide or baja. But everyone will see the numbers and call it a raptor killer. It will be like comparing a home built drag truck to a SCORE truck. one might make more power but i doubt it will do much well other than smoke tires. Just like the hellcat. The raptor is pretty damned refined for its intended purpose.

well shit, as long as it sounds better....

You’re right. The sounds our vehicles make have no bearing on the driving experience. Just don’t tell most of the guys on this forum that have intakes or exhausts that.

To infer that sound is a preiminent quality I personally value in my truck is wrong. I bought an eco boost. Obviously sound isn’t that important to me.

That said, a big iron, supercharged V8 truck, assuming it’s got the rest of the bases covered, may just be something people on a truck forum could get interested in. And remember, competition is a good thing.

yes competition is good. I'm just already dreading people putting 22s on it with a 12 inch lift and saying its a better truck than a raptor with debertis and a bolt kit.

Sitting in a traffic jam last Saturday morning in Phoenix ,East bound I 10 , I watched a blue Gen 2 going West bound cutting in and out of traffic 80+ mph when he went by , exhaust sounded like total ASS.

have to disagree when you say the trackhawk doesn't do anything correctly, well or right........ because it's fast. i don't care if it's in a straight line or not.

You never know. Apple was desperate for money at one point as well. So desperate in fact that Microsoft had to bail them out with a $150 million investment. Apple then came out with the original iMac which was a huge success an then the iPod a few year later which put them on the path they're on today.

Yikes! Comparing FCA to Apple is :ROFLJest:
