Finally ordered..for some one who never had a truck, what would you all suggest that I learn (as I wait)?

After waiting for 15 months, finally secured the dream machine! 2023. Agate black, 37pp, Ricaro..having them install retrax pro and tough bed spray. Will pick up soon. During the last 15 months, did rent a F150 and sure did feel the learning curve. Given this has the 360 camera, does it make it better to get over the learning curve?

Any suggestions to a F150 Novice are appreciated..

i didnt have a truck before this raptor and live in a metro area like yourself... its not a big deal, you'll pick it up fast and the 360 camera helps with tight parking spots. that is unless you're a terrible driver

I came from a tundra, which is a decently sized half ton. The Raptor is definitely wide, and takes some getting used to. Having the 360 to back in is a life saver for me. Don't over think it. You'll get used to it and it's awesome

Train to press the R mode button when you get into the Truck to adjust wheel/suspension/exhaust. Also train to select Sport mode by turning the mode dial to the left twice after startup.

If they still come with auto start/stop, press that button as well.

Don't use 4H unless you know what you are doing.

Exercise your face muscles to get used to smiling and grinning while driving. Maybe even an Oh face, YMMV.

Research pure-gas.org and toptiergas to find a station near you. Use 91 or 93.
