Hey VG,

Now that you have the hood mounted lights for a short while, do you have any negatives that you have found having them there? I am planning something similar and am on the fence about the hood mounts.
I have the Rigid 20 going in also.
On another note, I have looked through all these fuse threads and could not determine if someone found the 10amp replacement for slot 18 for toggle 1. Anybody on this one? I did search, may have missed it.

Thanks
Joe

Hey Joe,

I love the lights up there, they work great and they really do not obstruct the view, like i thought they might have. The only thing about them, being that they are LED, they don't shoot as far as HID in a pencil beam. But they work well in conjunction with my 20" LED light bar, filling in and adding to the light displacement.

Later down the road i plan on getting some pencil beam HIDs for the hood and either mounting these 6inch LEDs behind the grill, or on a light bar facing rear. I think they would be great for facing rear. As for now, they work great and they'll be up there for awhile. :)

As for fuses, i'm not sure, i need to swap fuses still, i'm still running the 10a in uplifter 4 (6" LEDs) and the 15a in uplifter 3 (20" LED bar). I need to move the 10a to slot 3 and get a 5a for slot 4.
