I will start by saying I know I should have not taken my truck to the dealership for a simple Snyc update/recall...I have had my truck for close to three years and have only opened the sunroof once and that was not to long after I got it. I opened it to clean and lube the seal and I closed it and never opened it again. I have not had any leaking sunroof issues at all. So a few weeks ago I took my truck in for a sync update/recall and the dealership did a courtesy insp which I did not know they were going to do and I can only assume that they opened the sunroof because since that day and after a rain my drivers side carpet is wet and only the drivers side. I took a hose a let water run over the roof/sunroof and it seems the drains are working and I have looked under the dash and cannot see any wet spots or water. I think if the truck was a little shorter in length I could get it in the garage until I can dig into it. Although I cannot say for certain without talking to the dealership and asking them if they opened the sunroof but i will be calling them and asking. I need to dig into it ASAP as the interior is starting to smell.

That sucks to hear. Could be coincidence and the drain line is plugged. I'm not sure whice side it's located on the Raptor. You can try blowing it out.

Also if they did open it, make sure it's fully closed.

Similar issue happened to me, went in for the update. Then they did a courtesy wash on a super hot day. Then the soap or whatever chemical they used dried up on the fender flares and black plastic. I pointed it out, they took it back the next day and tried to "buff" off stains only to burn right through the matte finish. I warned them its not something you can buff off, but I let them try since I knew what the outcome would be. Long story short, I got 4 new fender flares....by the way I specifically said "Do not wash" when the service advisor asked if they could wash it. I said NO but he failed to document it and they washed it. Oh well.......

It is the drivers side and only the drivers side. I did hit the button to raise it but did not open it fully. I have an extended warranty and called them and they will cover it as long as it is not the actual seal gone bad. They wont cover the seal due to it is considered a "wear item". It is weird I just went and checked the carpet and it is damp, it was not damp last night and I believe it did not rain last night. As much as I don't like taking my vehicles to the dealership I might for this one. My warranty has a $200 deductible and I don't have a way to keep it out of the weather while I try and fix it so I might cave in this time plus they will hopefully warranty their work.
