I think people are finally starting to figure that out.
Funny story: I was at my local gun store the other day (Collector's Firearms in Houston) getting some gunsmith work done on one of my rifles. It was a quick job so they said just stick around for 30 minutes and we'll knock it out...easy to do in a place like that.
Heard a guy call in on the phone and only heard one part of the conversation. The guy calling in was from California. And he was calling to see if they would ship a rifle directly to his house. You could tell by the clerk's reaction that the guy on the other end did not like the FFL and 10-day requirement and after a couple minutes of the clerk telling him no, the guy on the other end hung up.
So I’m at my fav gun store last week and some of the usual suspects are now buying all the guns in panic.
I got a new can in and the papers are done so I was getting some toys and one of the guys sees my 10.5” truck gun.
“ So since that’s a shorter barrel it’s cheaper right? “ “ No sir, I wish. “ “ Well they have AR pistols behind you that are the same size and $600. “ Those are pistols, this is a rifle. It’s also got a fun switch, a Geisselle trigger, a USGRI upper and (now) a Q can. “
-blank stare-
“ So you know guns. I’m thinking of getting that pistol grip 10g they have Bc it’s so cool looking and it’s only $400. “
“ I mean, if you hate your wrists. “
