I have the Proclip that mounts in the useless space under the cigarette lighter on the right of the infotainment monitor. Overall it's pretty good and it's less obtrusive than others I've seen.

I ended up ordering this setup after looking at the dash for a while. I have wanted to do something with that useless space below the cigarette lighter that really holds nothing, and this would be great since it wouldn't block anything on the dash, and still be pretty unobtrusive. The only other option I had seen that I liked really was a windshield suction mount from Quadlock, but I now have tint on the top of the windshield, so I didn't wanna mount it to that.
Since the Proclip mount is flat, I'll be mounting a Quadlock universal head to it so it's low profile, and still fits my other Quadlock mounts. The universal Quadlock mount has adhesive but also can have a screw used through the middle of it, so it should have plenty to hold it on. Got both items on order and should have them later this week. I'm going to wire a USB adapter behind the dash and run a hidden cable out near the holder like I did on my 22 F-150, that way there's no USB cable running across the interior. Ordered that from Amazon to have on hand as well. Looking forward to having a proper setup!
