I have a Gen 3, just upgraded my sound system, and now there is what sounds like fake engine/exhaust sound coming through my new sub, but only at very low RPM <1k, and it noticeably disappears when completely stopped/idle. I unplugged my sub and the noise was gone, so I'm guessing it's only a low frequency sound. Is this the fake engine noise and if so, is there a tutorial on how to get and use Forscan so I can disable?
Thanks in advance!

Ha thanks! If it were constant, I think I'd get used to it, but since I hear it when I'm coming to a stop, then it's gone at stop, then back on at acceleration, it's kind of annoying. I guess I'll spend $60 for the Forscan OBD link and see if disabling gets rid of it. Since this is new to me I was looking for some opinions before jumping into the Forscan pool.

Sounds like you have a bad ground and its engine whine. Not uncommon in aftermarket stereos. Check ground and if you cant find source get ground loop isolator

Do the Gen 3's still even have the fake engine noise? I haven't heard mention of it til now. I did turn it off on the Gen 2.

I'm not sure !! I have a 2023 I did the Forscan code to disable it, and now I'm not sure if I can notice any difference. However I think I hear more road and Tire noises now. I think it has something to do with the Noise Canceling feature in the Cab.

Here is the code for Forscan
Disable Fake Engine NoiseACM727-01-01xxxxxxxx0x--

Like a dumb rookie with Forscan I didn't save the stock codes the first time I changed a few things. That was one of them.

So can anyone out there give me the factory Code/Formula xxxx 0000 xxxx for the FAKE ENGINE NOISE on a 2023 37" F150 Raptor ?

I want it back.

I don't think it's a bad ground since I only hear it through my sub, not any other speakers. When I disconnect the sub, or turn the gain down, the noise goes away. If it were a ground issue wouldn't I still hear it in the other speakers?
Appreciate all the other comments as well!
