Can anyone tell me what TCM and PCM version they are running? Local Ford dealer tells me there is absolutely no updates available (truck was built May 2018 and has not been updated since delivery).

I posed this question a week or two ago. Someone answered, the TSB is 18-2274, applies to trucks built before May 18.

I just got my 2018 SuperCrew yesterday so I guess I am the true newbie of the bunch. I have noticed that it does seem to shift a little weird but, again, I am new to this. If this is because it needs an update can anyone tell me what the procedure for getting them to look at it would be? I did ask before signing if there any recalls and they assured me that if there were they would not be allowed, by law, to sell the vehicle.
Thanks!

get used to it first, it’s going to take a couple of fuel tanks worth of driving to figure out what’s what. if you think the truck is being “lazy”; not wanting to downshift, etc. be deliberate with the throttle. Even in normal mode if you begin to cane the truck, it will begin to downshift more aggressively and hold shifts little longer for at least a short period of time.

He is right but the TSB is not a recall. It is a procedure they use to deal with a specific issue that is brought to there attention by the owner.
