Silly question, can you have a bed rug without the bed cover and will it stand up to the weather?

I do like the idea of the bed rug.

I don't have any snow but sure get lots of sun and rain here in Florida.

It makes since to cancel the factory spray in liner if I am going to add the bedbug anyway. I am just not sure how soon I will get around to adding the Undercover Flex cover.

Yup, they hold up just fine to the elements. It's closed cell foam so it won't absorb water like carpet. Lots of Lightning guys run them with no bedcovers.

Thanks for all the info involving the spray in bed liner. Anyone experience the plastic
drop-in"?

Do they even still make them anymore? lol they're pretty much obsolete with other options on the market. Spray in for ultimate durability, bedrug for a durable trunk-like bed, and bedtred for a middle ground between spray-in and bedrug.

I prefer a soft cover is more forgiving when you have something an inch or two taller than the bed. I picked one up from amazon that fits perfect and it's priced right! It has great reviews too!
