So what’s the correct type of connection to tap into the factory wiring?

Have been chatting with Relentles0ne and he's going to provide pictures and wiring info to get this thing connected up properly. I'm leaning toward soldering and heat shrinking the wires together as I do on my pinball machines to avoid any issues. Will post pics once this is all done and working

Any chance you could provide some details on how this came out and where you found the third brake light wire? I have a Super Pacific X1 camper shell that was installed with a third brake light on the top. I'd like to figure out how to connect this to my 2024 Ford Raptor. Everyone I've spoken to including SPV said that there is a wire to each tail light that could be used but it lights up for both brakes and turn signals, no brake light only wire back there.

@kcadieux and @salvagediver

Sorry I missed this here. @darkryder
Thanks for tagging me!

While everyone wants to give yall a hard time about splicing and the cautionary tale of these types of connections none are really helping here and I know the frustration. I was new and just wanted these cool lights on my truck and btw their still on their since November and working fine. I agree F150Leds isn’t high quality and they do a terrible job with directions and customer service. So I would avoid in the future. I did learn some important things on the wiring. For their taillight wire and others like it you need to use this guide in link below for 2024 raptors but there’s missing information
that I’ll add here .

The one piece they don’t tell you is after you attach the wires to the drivers side brake light and the one wire to the other green wire to passenger side brake light you then need to split out the brown wire from the drivers side bundle and run it back under to where your trailer hitch wires are and attach it to the brown trailer hitch wire which is a lot thicker than the connected allows so you will need pliers to really clamp it on there and then tape it up tight!

Thats the missing part that’s not clearly explained for installing these.

Let me know if y’all need further help !
