I spoke with Mike at NPT to confirm this and also screenshotted the emails. I can't "unmarry" or unlock this from my vin, I guess you were able to do that before but not anymore.
But if you are purchasing a tune from MPT or any other nGauge tuner they will give you the code to unlock it with the tune, and then you can install it.
Which is what you want to do anyways, get a tune for your specific truck. I will leave the tunes I got from Mike on the SD card but use at your own discretion.
Already loaded my truck with the stock tune.
What's included:
nGauge Tuner
OBD Cable
SD card with multiple tunes: came off my 2018 Screw Raptor
Windshield mount
