I’m told they do and was told they did (7 in fact) before putting money down. Got the ford order acknowledgement email the moment they took my paperwork and submitted the order.
People on this forum love to assume that someone may not have an allocation, as if Ford hasn’t been massively negligent and incompetent for the last two years

Ha, 3 months, I ordered mine on 10/6 and haven't heard a word. Nearly 6 months and no vin, nothing.... I've seen people on here with the exact same build as mine that ordered weeks after with VIN's. Whole process is pretty ridiculous at this point. I'm like the other guy, pretty much expecting my truck to be a 2023 at this point if I get it at all.
I'm right with you. Ordered 10/14. Email confirmation 5 minutes after order. NADA SINCE.

What did your dealer say? Did he call their rep?
.
Yep.. Spent almost an hour with the salesman and SM a couple of days ago. Bottom line is that my "zone", due to historical sales, receives less allocations (compared to larger population zones) and thus gets fewer vehicles produced. Dealer has 3 allocated Raptors on order and mine is 1st in line. It gets down to competition between all the zone reps for production slots and the ones from lower sales regions get fewer vehicles produced.
