Driving school no matter what if u learn from it u will be faster in a/on a less capable vechical. Going down the highway one day two up on my fz1. guy on cbr 1000 flys by us. Ok well I see him heading for my exit. I start my down shifting and deciding to see if this guy can ride or is a squid. I set my entrance speed. ( remember slow in fast out). set my gear, and I know this exit. Would u know on the decreasing radius off ramp where it opens up two a two lane divided road we where right on his tail. I could of blasted right by him on corner exit and all the power in the would he would not of caught up. But I just pulled up him so he could see us. No wave nothing. Up squid.

I have been to California super bike school and corner speed and many many track days to pratice my skills. Im slow on the street because of speed limits but I ride better the a lot out there.

Bike of choice 09 R1. 1000 cc because thats what I wanted. Looks great sounds better, care less about anything else.

track bike 05 r6 plastics could use some repair and a better rattle can paint job. Almost every bolt on custome tune and supension tweaks. bike is fun and fast. Draggin knee while pasding somebody on the outside of a corner yea. But I will tell u that iwas the guy getting passed like that. Now im the guy doing the passing. Id say im a decent track rider. Faster the a lot but not fasyer then most. Its just so much fun pushing machine and yourself to the limits. Espically when its not your dd or only bike. I have haf my speed o show 165 mph. With room to go and another gear. I just didnt have any more.

I'm saving to do dirt fish or oniell rally driving school. 5k. I bet it makes my truck faster than any mod. My vote would be a non raptor specific school would be better. It's the same principles behind all the schools and you're going to find day better instructors at bigger name schools.

the raptor assault school is run by ford racing, I don't think there is a bigger name in racing than that, it's at miller motorsports park in utah, where ford racing also holds the ford racing school, which is $8,909 for the full class which gets you licensed to be an official racing driver, and for raptor owners it's only $1,195 for the raptor assault off road racing school, dirt fish is for rally cars, there's a difference in manipulating the weight and height of the raptor that you won't learn in dirt fish, which could end up with bad results if you try to apply what you learned directly to the raptor

not saying dirt fish would be a bad investment, if you can afford them all, you should go to every racing school, but I believe the raptor assault school would be a better choice for a raptor owner if you can only go to one or the other

I think there are better and less expensive ways to hone your driving skills off road.. Personally I think a slower rig with less suspension travel is better learning tool. I use my Zuki Samurai set up for the dunes for practice (deaver springs, 30" tires, ect.)

I've been driving in the desert & dunes since I was a kid and that little truck has taught me more than any of the street prerunners, Full Size trucks or any of the many sand rails I have owned... Keeping momentum up and looking 2 jumps/turns/obstacles ahead are easier to master when working with 50 horsepower LOL

For the price of one of those schools.. you could buy your own Samurai and outfit it to your terrain.. then go bashing away. I try to camp with my race driver friends in the dunes when possible as well... Class 10 guys can teach you a thing or 2 on ride alongs
