Exhaust sound thread

is there a thread where everyone posted videos and sound clips along with their mods? I have always had v8’s and am looking for multiple sounds clips along with pics/info on all mods/exhaust work to help me make a decision for the v6-TT.

Welcome to the forum. I’m not aware of a single thread, but search is your friend. I have the stock exhaust, but if I wanted more aggressive sound this is what I’d go for. Check out their video’s.

The new Injen exhaust looks really really nice but I have not heard a clip. I can’t drop a $1000 without hearing it.
I saw it at SEMA, super clean.

I searched the forum and can't find anyone with a clip of their truck with the Roush muffler delete kit. Roush has one on their page but it's not clear what angle, distance, throttle position, etc. the clip is taken from. Does anyone have this system installed?

funny you mentioned this. we had a customer of ours get one installed on his 17 f150 (non raptor, but 3.5 ecoboost) and the shop that installed it couldnt wire it up so he brought it to us. after wiring it up we tested to make sure it was working. after several tries opening and closing with the switch i thought something was wrong. took me 30 min to figure out that barely makes a difference at idle. and with the doors shut i couldnt hear the difference. revved the motor a few times and finally heard the difference. we have one of those big 3ft shop fans going so it was causing some ambient noise and we had to turn it off so we could hear the difference. the customer was pretty disappointed with the sound. it wasnt what he expected. it lowers the tone of the engine, and maybe just a little louder, but if its running, we couldnt tell the difference between a regular truck and that unless they were side by side

The Corsa Xtreme is far and away my favorite sounding system on these trucks, but we do carry all the other major brands as well. Options are Borla, Corsa, AWE, MBRP, Roush, and more.
