Not as bad as I thought it would be, definitely needs some aftermarket mufflers to deepen it a bit. Sure the V8 sounds better but that's about the only argument guys can make after they get smoked off the line by a 6 cylinder, hahaha.

You think that's the only argument? Not the simplicity gained from n/a while mobbing in an austere environment? Not the fact that it makes the power it has without the extra stressors of boost? There are plenty of reasons to appreciate an n/a v8 in a truck like this.

As a side note, I don't understand the handful of Gen1 owners that seem to be in the Gen2 section with nothing to contribute other than to repeatedly say how much they think the Gen2 sucks. If you don't like the Gen2, then why are you even in this section trolling? There's nothing for you to see here, move along.

So it's OK to troll if you don't realize you are trolling?

Still doesn't justify if someone only posts how the V6 sucks. There are plenty of Gen1 owners who have valuable feedback, but some are just trolling.

I'm just explaining why it happens, they aren't coming in to the gen 2 section looking for it, it just happens to be on the list they see. As far as I'm concerned It's their (and often times mine) opinion, this is the Internet, get over it.

I havent heard a single person saying the EcoBeast sucks, just the exhaust note that sounds cutesy.

We all know g2 is faster and improved in multiple ways until you twin turbo the 6.2.

That would be a great place to begin the v6 sucks debate.

Calm down son, I've owned V8 trucks for the last 20 years, sure it would be a great to have a V8. What concerns me more is - when did this forum turn into a bunch of whine ass school girls, hahaha. It used to be cool to own a Raptor... guess not anymore since it has a 6.

Son? How about you address me like a man addressing another man, I didn't disrespect you so show me the same courtesy. Reread my response, not one whine or gripe, just additional reasons to want a v8.

I didn't realize until this video that the front grille stays in place with the hood up. I kinda like having the grille lift with the hood so I can clean the radiator fins more easily. Seems like the new design makes it harder to reach inside the engine bay.

Sound isn't bad, but there's no comparison to the 6.2L.
Through three trucks they all broke in the bottom corners because of smashing ice when closing the hood. Hard to remember every single time to bust out the ice. Glad the hear the grille stays in place hopefully we see the pricing improve in Canada in the next few years.
