Engine rattle/noise at start up

Me engine now makes a ticking noise continuously.... plus the rattle on start-up.

Sent my 17 in this week for oil change and so they could hear the rattle. I’m at 16k miles right now it’s been getting worse. At first they said rattle went away after oil change I told them to keep it over night and listen in the morn. Rattle came back. I sent them a pick of the paperwork in this thread. This morn they said they were doing a major tear down of the motor maybe ready by end of this week. Will keep you guys posted on what they do.

So far been over week and a half. They said they changed out some type of solenoids reassembled and noise was still there. Next thing they are going to do is cam phasers but they are on backorder. I told them and showed them that others have done phasers chains tensioners etc. but he said they have to do things one step at a time. Anyway got a loaner vehicle now and just waiting to see what’s next and how long it will be.

I wonder if they change anything to make the phasers any more reliable? If they are on back order not a good sign

I posted this elsewhere on the forum and before on this thread... but here goes. Bought a ‘17 with 7,193 miles, had the rattle and motor was replaced at 8,100 miles. They found leaking oil, piston skirt cracked and other things.

The rattle is back again... on the new motor.

There are four Raptors at my dealer now, no parts . Ford will figure it out.

I posted this elsewhere on the forum and before on this thread... but here goes. Bought a ‘17 with 7,193 miles, had the rattle and motor was replaced at 8,100 miles. They found leaking oil, piston skirt cracked and other things.

The rattle is back again... on the new motor.

S#*t! Not good news. What did Ford say?

Update still at dealer parts are on nationwide back order. No time frame given to me yet.
