He's an ass and a troll and you're his favorite chump. He was warned by a lot of people about his behavior early on before you walked in, Barney Fife.

Now that you took the time once again to voice your opinion of someone on the internet, maybe you can move onto something else more worthy. I certainly hope you make more of a positive impact in the real world than you do on the inter webs.

you realize that you cant just "make shit up" and get the dealer to buy it back.... right? there has to be an actual problem the dealer can replicate.

so it would be a pretty stupid assumption to think someone will make something up on a forum with the intent on getting a dealer buy back.

that being said, I'm also not saying he's not making it up.
Buy back is not an easy process. It has to fall into Lemon Law. This truck has to be back and forth few times for the same documented problem. If there is no solution, Ford has to buy it back.

Accelerator pedal position sensors (APP) are a redundant system. There are usually 2 or 3 sensors in the pedal. They check one another. The likelihood of both failing simultaneously is near impossible. And they also set DTC's.

I don't know about Canada, but here in the US the government requires the brake pedal to defeat the gas pedal electronically since we had all those runaway Prius floor mat problems. If you step on the gas and brake at the same time on a 2014+ vehicle you have nearly no power.

I bet Ford's next step is to ask you to bring the truck in for diagnostics and they will scan for any stored DTC's.

I apologize for any incorrect terms or facts. I'm a GM tech, not everything is the same across car lines. Just sharing my knowledge.
