Its always cheaper to replace the motor versus rebuilding. Logically Ford would replace the motor and be done with it. Hope Carfax would just mention "serviced by Ford at 4000 miles"

Why, so the next buyer gets stuck holding the bag when he thought he was buying an original truck?
At 4000 miles it makes no difference its still a new truck. Just too much information triggers a bunch of explanations. And as long as the first owner keeps all the paperwork if needed it should be no big deal. At a 200k miles it would make a valuable difference. Is that ok?

I was just at the dealership getting oil changed the service manager said you should find out who the ford rep is for the dealership if you want to get answers and get it fixed thats the fastest way
