Emblem Removal

I removed all mine when it was cold out. Grab an edge and pull it straight away from the truck. The adhesive will remain and is thick enough that if you go slow, will pull off in one clean chunk.

I white-dippped my Raptor badge and put it back where the holes are in the tail gate.

Pulled off the Raptor emblem and both the 6.2L's. Worked best for me when the outside temp was about 65F. Too cold and they were difficult to remove, too hot and it left a lot of glue on the truck. Pulled off the emblems, then the tape peeled off pretty easily without leaving much residue. Any remaining glue came up with Goo Gone that I bought at Autozone. No scratches or marks on truck.

For those who have pulled off their 6.2L emblems or those who are about too, don't trash em. They are like $70 a piece at the dealer. Not sure what the F150 will fetch.

The 6.2L and raptor badge are stuck on with 3M tape. The F150 badge has alignment pins and 3M tape. I pulled mine off and just plastidipped the F150. Looks good on a black truck, I dunno about other colors.

What did you use to reinstall the emblems? Did you have to buy new emblems? I would like to delete the F150 emblem and move the Raptor emblem over the location Pin Holes. Thanks

Shouldn't be any pin holes, I think all the emblems are just taped on.
