Greetings! Recently bought a used 2010 raptor from a ford dealer here in austin texas. Went ahead and bought the extended warranty and glad I already did, seems like I have the notorous third brake light issue already. Taking it in soon for the fix.
Regardless, I traded in my 2007 Subaru WRX STI and I've come from a wrenching force inducted lifestyle to a naturally aspirated 5.4L v8 - what a change. I'm looking forward to doing minimal work on the truck. I got tired of breaking things looking for more power in my Subi. Had over 400 at the wheels and $10k+ put into performance mods on it.
Granted, I get the same gas mileage as I was previously! But it's nice to not HAVE to use e85 like I did in my subaru!
So, besides the third brake light problem is there anything I should keep an eye out for potential problems?
The raptor had 39k miles on it when I got it.
