Problem resolved without dropping the pan/exhaust! Examined the transmission electrical connector plug and found 1 of the 16 female receptacles had somehow gotten pushed in, therefore was not making contact with the corresponding male transmission pin. Was able to push on the wire where it enters the back of the plug which pushed out the female end to its’ proper location in the plug. Plugged the electrical connector back into the transmission and no check engine light/fans didn’t kick on. Transmission functions as normal. TSB 11-3-25 dated 3/31/11 describes the 6R80 transmission bulkhead connector to give you a better idea.
