Hi all, new to the forum with my recently purchased 2013 Screw Raptor. The pinion bearing was clearly shot, so I disassembled everything and replaced the pinion bearings, carrier bearings, and wheel bearings, since it was all apart. Pinion crush sleeve preload set per factory spec, pinion depth checks out, about 9 thousandths backlash. After reinstall, the locker is stuck engaged. I'm hoping it's something dumb I did. The knob isn't engaged, I've disconnected the connector, no change. The knob and dash light are functional, no change and the locker won't disengage. What did I do wrong? 1000055505.jpg

I tore everything out again and have been searching for details on how the system is actually supposed to work to no avail. When energized, the electromagnetic coil does magnetize and appears to be pulling as intended. What I don't understand is how this is supposed to push the clutch plate AWAY from the electromagnet to engage the side gear teeth. If the magnet were to repel the towers on the clutch plate into the side gear, that would make total sense. Coil reads a little under 4 ohms resistance. Is that how the coil is supposed to work? 1000055790.jpg

I didn't get into mine that deep. I am not sure how it works. My "cage" was scrap the pinion got into it. I bought a new one form RONS.
