I know, I even thought about that. Hell, even the wife was on board with it. I just have too many projects and being pulled in too many directions to be able to leave for about a week.

I'm pretty much a one man show.

Last time I checked you needed a passport to travel to Mexico….

They can't deny you entry as a citizen of the USA... HOWEVER... they can delay your entry substantially and royally screw with you. Not worth the risk.
