Effective difference in 315-70-17 and 35-12.5-17?

When the stock tires wear out, are most guys just putting on 35-12.5-17 tires? What’s the difference?

at least when it comes to duratracs, the 315 is load d rated, the 35 is load e rated.

there’s also the KO2 “DT” if you are looking for more miles on the tire. i’ve read that they aren’t rated for snow like the original KO2 is, however.

So, basically, you can run the 35-12.5-17 size tires with no I’ll effects such as rubbing, speedo error, etc?

When I was looking for tires the KO2 315/70/17 vs K02 35/12.5/17 the 35/12.5 were 5lbs heavier per tire.
