Yeah guys I dont think bedrug will really work for me. Like i said in the op I haul dirt bikes and stuff so I dont think fuel and oil dripping on it would be that great for em. As for paying extra for the plastic liner the dealer already had it installed when I bought the truck and they threw it in for free. So I guess I'll get the bed Line-Xed when I get home. Whats the added benefit to doing the wheel wells?

I have a Blue Flame SCAB on the way from the factory and I have been planning to have it Line-X'd. Woodworking is my hobby and I will be hauling expensive hardwood veneered plywood in the bed. It sounds like the Line-X would be damaging to the plywood. I will want to be able to slide plywood sheets flat into and out of the bed myself. I already have a Roll-X cover that I will be installing. I like the idea of maybe a color matched Line-X with some kind of bed mat, but if the bed mat is rubber I fear I would not be able to slide sheets of plywood in and out alone.

Thoughts and recommendations?

I have the color matched linex and OEM bed mat combo and love it. But the mat is VERY grippy. If you want to slide fragile items in and out I'd suggest a bedtred over your linex. It offers good protection, won't scuff your wood, and would allow it to slide.

LineX with a bed mat .. best of both worlds. You get protection from the LineX and the bed mat is soft if you need to haul fragile items. And both items clean easily:

Now that's exactly what I need. It should be good to slide my fishing kayak in and out.
