Driver side rear shock OEM shock leak?

Confirmed steering rack is bad as well as power steering pump is going out. Also right rear shock is leaking and not covered under warranty. Purchased less than 3000 miles ago.. Beyond frustraded.

Rack and pump should be covered. Be sure that they thoroughly flush the system. Is it stock? If so, ask for them to replace the lines and the PS reservoir. Sounds extreme, but I've had four pumps go bad in two months and I'm thinking it is due to contamination in the system.

The rack breaks down and send metal through the system which blows out the pump.

As for the shock, I'd look for a used replacement and get that one rebuilt. Then you will have a good spare.

Thanks, Yukon pump and rack are in fact covered . i didn't think to mention a through flush of the system will give them a ring. They had me under the gun on the shocks so i ordered a new set from them and then of course came across some 3.0s so trying to get the oem sold so i can have the 3.0s installed and save on some labor while there waiting on a rack from denver.

I may have missed this, but how many total miles is on the truck?

About two weeks ago I saw a rear on fleabay about half price if I recall correctly. It was a new dealer take off that was replaced because the emblem was blemished. Just mentioning this because it is possible to find a deal every now and then.

Stearing rack issues is the other reason (electronics is the first) I got the 7/100K. Hope you get it sorted out. Of course, I would never advise against upgrading to a new one.
