Door started squeeking

My driver side door started squeaking when I open and close it. It's not coming from the door dent location. I think its coming from the linkage up top.

I tried tightening the bolts a bit - but they were already pretty tight and it didn't eliminate the sound. My truck has 11,000 miles on it and it just started squeaking.

I get squeaking on both driver and passenger side doors. In my case it comes from the rubber weather seal near the side mirrors. It gets folded in a certain way that causes the squeaking. I can fix it temporarily but it always come back. I've learned to live with it.

Same here. Its the weather stripping seal on the top by the mirror. I unfold mine and put some silicon on it, last for a week or so and starts to squeak again.

If you're still getting a noise even after a few DIY approaches, you may want to bring this up to your dealership so they can check that out. As always, I'll be around in case you need my help.

The squeaking has gone away by itself in my truck. It wouldn't be surprised if it came back though

Same here. Really bad in the winter when it's cold!
