Best I can do for anyone is to give them what I would hope to be given. Yes you end up with a small cost to return it, to get a full refund... I appreciate all the positive input and have offered via PM to provide replacement units or refunds. There are tricks to polish this metal and I can probably get a better job and make everyone happy. My goal. Small imperfections happen and it might well be these did not clean well and I missed them. So I can replace them and would do the best job possible. I did these more as a courtesy than something to make money and get rich. I had a lot of people asking me to make more, including a guy who sold his truck with them on and wants a new set for his new truck.. So if we can stay on topic if your having an issue please PM me and see if returning them is the answer..... thanks

Wow, you really have some balls. Now i understand why you got so upset with me over what I said to Raptor Lean guy, because you are a complainer by nature and like to create problems where there are none. Our sills looked exactly like yours and you can't even tell when they are on the truck/ we get a million compliments on them. Because of you 2 other people are now questioning their purchase when everyone had been happy up to this point. You should of handled your whole supposed situation via pm. But a complainer can't do that can he. Over a thousands posts in less than 4 months, maybe you are the one who should slow down with flapping your gums and have a little respect for people like my husband who are answering your questions.

But you probably can't see this because you got all butthurt by something I said months ago. If you can see this, go back and look at our pictures of this product.

Same to the other two guys, put them next to your truck before you decide to return, a few burnt edges are probably not a problem, they went for us.

Sorry for the off topic Ice, back to kick ass door sills.

Ice, sorry to shit on your non legit vendor thread.

RW (and YJ somewhat),

Are you seriously upset that people on a discussion forum, in a thread about a product, are discussing that product? Are you upset that someone said something bad about your friend's product to the point where you've felt the need to tag team yell at this guy?

The guy posted something on topic about a characteristic of the product that he didn't like. That's valuable feedback that would stop a perfectionist like me from purchasing something like this. Instead of letting Ice handle it himself, you two got pissed at this guy. You've decided to handle his egregious action of posting something possibly negative about your friend's product with complaints about how much he posts, calling him a ******, and squarely blaming him for two other people not liking the product that they received. Was that really necessary?

I understand I'm one of the biggest ****** canoes on this forum, but your posts in this thread irritate me and needed commenting on. I don't know this guy personally, or your beef with him, so I'll ignore those bits.

No beef Biebs, don't know the guy either. And ice seems like a nice guy, but we've never met him, so i wouldn't call him a friend. My issue is the same across all people selling things, you try and handle supposed issues via pm first... And then i really get heated, when he tells Joe not to respond because he doesn't want to hear him. Joe didn't yell at him and was in no way mean. Joe is very helpful to alot of people on this forum and this guy goes around telling anyone who he doesn't like what they have to say to shut up. You want to see why the older owners with all the valuable information keep leaving, this is it.

Now lets leave it be and let ice get his thread back on track

I like my sill plates. They add something to my truck that makes me able to keep it in good shape.
I guess I am not one of those guys that thinks it is cool to have a filthy truck. I like mine clean, and will take it to be washed after I go four wheeling, every single time. I have too much money into it to make it look like a junk heap in 100,000 miles.
My last truck was a work truck, f-250. When I sold it at 190,000 miles, I was able to command a premium price, because I took care of it, and it still looked brand new. It isn't that I am ****, it is that I take care of it. Funny thing is I gave my beautiful accountant a ride one time, and she mentioned that she did not see my books when I bought a new truck. I told her it was the same truck I had for the last 9 years, and she was stunned. Her big question was, how do you keep it in such good shape. I really had no answer other than to tell her that I keep it clean, and fix stuff that goes bad.
For me, it pays off.
Anyway, back to the thread, I like Icecobras sill plates. This is the second truck I have had them on, and am thrilled with their appearance. The first one was sold about a month after I put the sill plates on, because my wife wanted me to have a more upmarket Raptor than my original one. It is very nice, and it makes her happy to buy me stuff, even if it is with my money.

Guys, I HAD the same problem with this last batch of sill plates that a lot of you did. I PM'd Rich, detailed the issue and we worked it out. His first response was a request for me to send the sills back to him and he would fix them. I looked at how big of a PITA it was going to be to remove them and asked for some stickers to replace the ones I had. My plan was to remove the stickers, clean the sills and reapply the stickers. Within a day or two, I had stickers.

I got around to working on one of he sills today and I found its not dirt we're seeing but the burns to the stainless from the laser engraver. The burns do polish out. Basically the guy doing the engraving had his machine running a little hot that day.

I don't know Rich other than my limited dealing with him here on this board so PM him and give him a chance to make this right. I feel very confident he will work with you as he did with me.
