You Are So Very Wrong
Hollyazz and Kwandeschwinn seem a bit butt hurt about some comments coming from someone they don't even know about a truck they don't even own. Odd.
I don't mind that you prefer one truck over the other, people should be proud of the vehicles they own. But your comments/thoughts are of no value. A more tactful approach would have been to simply post how much you like your Gen 1. I know I liked mine, as well as my Gen 2. I have never berated either truck, there's no need to, as they both are fantastic trucks.
Furthermore, I feel that at least 80% of the Gen 1 owners making their way to this site to bash on Gen 2, are owners who have looked at the Gen 2, like what they see, but do not like the ADM. Then when those 80+% take into account the amount of money they are upside-down in their own rides, going into FURTHER debt does not make sense (SMART) but find it easier to justify their choice to hang on to the old body style by bashing the new.
And ERIC, if my wife calls me to discuss a new vehicle, it is almost always in response to some comment I've made about said vehicle. It's not hard for me to envision you talking to your wife about the Gen2. You've maybe even run a cost comparison. She see's one at the school while picking up the children. She thinks a family vacation/college funds would be money better spent than incurring a new 7 year loan. So, she calls you and Knitt-Picks every detail of the truck in an effort to persuade you from moving forward with a purchase of the Gen2 (making it UGLY for you). Now you're all "ButtHurt" over being shot down before you even got out of the gate, so you naturally turn to FRF to berate that which you now realize you will not have, at least not until the price drops a little more. Now I'm sure you feel my comments are useless too.

The comment your wife made about not really noticing it as a Raptor at first has been my experience 100%.
It's not a dig on the new one (So nobody get butthurt!) it's just that for some reason it blends in better. I saw 2 of them on the freeway driving home from San Diego yesterday and both basically had to get right up on me before I was like "oh shit that's a new Raptor!". Maybe it's the fenders, I just don't know. They just blend in somehow, especially the Magnetic ones.
I agree with the truck blending in more. Still stands out though, I get lots of thumbs up.
I totally dig your Starbucks Terrain Mode, LMAO
