Doing a 2,400 mile road trip in 3 weeks..... family wants to take raptor instead of big German Sedan

Longest I've done in the Raptor was around 1400 miles or so round trip to Santa Fe and back. Wife and a 120lb Corso in the back seat. Great trip!!! Enjoyed that more than the 1600+ to Colorado Springs and back in the Wife's Mercedes Benz GLE 450.

The raptor really is the best road trip vehicle there is IMO.

^ this. I've put 35k on mine in the last 18mos. smooth, comfortable, fast and parts the interstate like Moses.

The Audi A6 is nice, but to a 22 and 16 year old, it is well...boring. Hard to beat the comfort of the Raptor on a road trip.

Yea, the family prefers the Raptor over any of SUVs we've owned.
Expedition, Explorer Sport/ST, Wagoneer etc.

Hell, I prefer it too. Mileage be damned.

Done many road trips in the Raptor, from 4 hours each way to cross-country doing 10 hours per day. It is without question the best road trip vehicle ever.

Yep, we just did a 4000 mile road trip in the Raptor, it was great, hit some back roads with no worries.

45 hours in the saddle and super comfy. It was hot as hell and the AC was excellent. MPG was ok due to driving around local.
