Have any of you noticed that all that knock Flood Ford have actually never bought it? Are there any ESP owners out there that have had a negative experience with a ESP from Flood Ford?

I went with Flood Ford and bought a plan based on the amount of time I plan on keeping the truck and also the miles I put on it.
ESP PremiumCare with a $50 deductible it brought my powertrain from 3/36 up to 5/60 and the enhanced rental. This is the plan that worked for me and was $685.00 for 2 additional years on it.

The contract states that " The Warranty agreement is backed by full faith and credit of the Ford Motor Service Company " Dearborn MI 1-800-521-4144. Call them if you have any questions about the ESP warranty

I doubt they sell them “at cost”, likely some dealer’s misinformed ramblings and upset about not being able to match Flood’s quote.

Dunno.

I'm going to go with Post #63 FTW! A very creative answer if I say so myself.

So how does Flood make any money?

Flood Ford has posted before that they make like <$200 per warranty, but they sell a ton of them. Not a lot of overheard required for a website either.

Can't find the thread, but it was on a forum where people trying to setup a group buy for a bigger discount.

I'd be in for that.

When I called to get the options and prices I spoke to Gardiner Reynolds and this was way before Covid-19. I would swear that he was working from home, maybe that is one of the ways they can keep the price so low. It did not sound like you reached a Ford dealer and they transferred you over to the warranty department, it was more like a call center for the warranty center. I don`t care because the bottom line is it saved me hundreds over what my dealer wanted and is the exact same thing. Like I mentioned above Ford's Dearborn 800 number is listed as the contact. It did cost less if you did purchase it within a certain time limit which I believed the truck was still considered new, I could be wrong but I believe that is what I was told.
