Does Anyone actually buy a Raptor at MSRP?

Seems very easy to find under MSRP in most areas over the last 30 days. Dealers are posting trucks for 1k off MSRP and they are sitting for weeks on the fb page.

Got mine from Woodhouse Ford in Nebraska at MSRP, but they split shipping and included a spray in bedliner.
A buddy of mine is a sales manager at a local Ford dealer (Ken Grody Ford in Buena Park). They have over 20 in stock and sell almost one a day. Even though they are asking $15k over on all of them, he was going to give me a “deal” at only $7500 over!
California is STILL nuts on pricing!

LOL, Ken Grody Ford! When I called in early March they had at least 14 Raptors on the lot and 4 more in transit. Wouldn't go below $10K over MSRP...stupid! Next day I put a deposit down on a 2018 at $1K UNDER MSRP by going out of state. Works for me as I got exactly what I wanted and didn't have to settle or pay for stickers I didn't want...yea!! Plus the road trip home is going to be fun!! Was fun when the sales guy called back a week later to tell him I bought one at $1K under...

Purchased a Leadfoot SCREW yesterday at MSRP in Houston. First went to Mac Haik where the SM insisted $5k-10k over and wouldn't allow a test drive prior to getting a credit score. Went up the road to Joe Myers and got mine at MSRP. Then drove back to Mac Haik to show the SM my new truck.

I don't understand how any dealer can expect customers not to have up to date info on market values of new vehicles prior to buying a car

Hmm...I decided to buy a Raptor a couple of weeks ago.....several of the dealers in the area had Raptors on their lots. One dealer had 4 and was asking $5,000 over sticker. I went to a dealership that had two, a white one and a Lead Foot. I drove off the lot with the Lead Foot the next day at nearly $5,000 below MSRP.

Don't really have to prove it....but here are how the numbers rolled. Don't have the papers in front of me....I bought a 2018, fully loaded Raptor...only thing I think it is missing is the orange accents.

Sticker price.............$70,550
Discount .............. (5,000)

Trade-in............... (13,550)

Taxes.................. 3,380

Total .................. $55,380

Actual Drive out was $55,500 so I am missing some misc. fees. I financed 55,000 at 2.75%.

Dealership was Kinsel Ford in Beaumont, Texas.....I went in not really needing to buy and knowing there were 7 other Raptors on 3 other local lots. I had no real need to trade in my truck though the truck was getting long on miles and was 2012. I knew what I needed to drive out at. I left the evening before, came back the next day...they gave me another number and I told them to look at what I was driving....it runs good and I don't need to buy today and was walking to my truck when sales manager gave me another number that was in ballpark....I stated I wanted to drive out at 55,000 and he managed to get to 55,500. Likely I got screwed somewhere but we were all happy at end of day and I could afford the truck.....end of story.
