Does Anyone actually buy a Raptor at MSRP?

Man I am still amazed these dealers still getting over MSRP.

The shop that I took my truck to get springs installed today asked me how much over I paid..... I told him nothing, he was like WHAT?! LOL I said yea man I wouldnt pay over sticker and I got it pretty local. He then told me his friend just bought one from Galpin Ford and he paid $13K over sticker.....

I couldn't even imagine paying that kind of money over sticker..... That would have taken all my mod money :(

Luckily I found mine I guess.

Yeah, I've had a few dealers get pretty snippy when I told them they'd need to drop their ADM to even get me to consider it. You're probably fortunate if you got it in CA for sticker/close. I've had a couple of initial offers from dealers down there for $6-12K over sticker. I may have a bit of leeway w/these guys to get 'em down 1-2K more if I push hard. The sticker has an issue date of 2017-04-25 if I read the code at the bottom correctly (2201704258207). Not sure if there's another way to read the build date on the sticker, so I could use that as a bit more leverage. Plus w/ '18's in, it's already a model year old, and the '19's are ~4 months away from opening for orders, so w/in a few months it's 2 model years old. Still, it's pretty fresh, only 62-ish miles on the odo so it hasn't been thrashed around as a demo for 'em.

Another one that came close was Jim Burke Ford in Bakersfield. I got them to $2500 ADM but still ended up finding mine @ sticker @ Penske La Mesa. Maybe give Jim Burke a call.

To tell you the truth I wouldn't want a 2017 @ sticker. I would rather get it under sticker or get an 18 @ sticker.

There is a Maryland dealer on Ebay right now selling 7 different 2018 Raps for MSRP, with varying equipment and prices to match.

Plus another dealer in Kansas with Buy it Now price set to MSRP on a Ruby Red SCREW and SCAB, or Make an Offer, so see if you can get your 2018 under MSRP.

I got 1000.00 off msrp from a local salesman that I deal with in previous sales. I paid a butt load for a full loadout of a ruby red raptor. But very happy

I got my new 2018 screw almost loaded minus stickers today for 1k under msrp. Traded in my 2017 screw with 26k miles for 5k less than what I paid a year ago which was msrp. Absolutely cannot beat the resale value it's crazy.

Let me understand...

You had a 2017 Raptor with 26K miles and you traded that truck and you only lost 5K in depreciation, is that right?

OMG!!!

Yes. I got 59k trade paid 64k in Jan 2017 The 2018 I got was 70k but had beadlocks and carbon fiber which were a hold when I ordered mine last year. They had one on the lot with those options and I could not help myself

EAst Coast Deals

I hate it for you west coast guys, at least you got some great riding within a couple of hours. I have to put 2500 miles on mine for a trip to Moab. Anyway, found that most dealers outside of the big cities in the Mid-Atlantic are now below sticker. Got mine for -$1500 and picking up tomorrow. There are a lot of dealers within 3 hours drive from CLT, RDU or IAD who have stock they are willing to deal. I would drop $500 for a flight, $50 for a rental and $2000 transport before would pay +$10K.
