The car wash type you drive onto a conveyer and it pulls you through, my gen 1 freaked out and or the machine didn’t like the width or something but the truck got “stuck”. It took a minute for the crew to see the problem and in the meantime the big roller brushes just sat there and beat the hell out of the truck. Then they shut the machines down. Pretty sure they threw a bucket of dirt on the brushes to lube them up And turned them back on, then had me put the truck in drive and continue out of the wash against the conveyers will. When I exited the whole truck had 10 million tiny scratches....

soo bottom line I will not trust any wash other than my own hand ever again. Sorry high school band fundraiser car wash at the Taco Bell not gonna happen. Lol

Yeah this is why I refused to go into those style car washes.

My Gen 1 does not know what the inside of a car wash looks or feels like. Only washed in driveway...

Never mind, 73.6" - 73.9" track width and 78.4" - 78.5" height. So basically exactly the same.

Took the Escalade through mine and it was 7' 4" high. Did not ask about with but there was a late model F150 in front of me so I'm sure is fine.

Height is usually not the problem its the width. If they have a guided wheel track then the truck is biased to one side (Pass side) and it is to close to the equipment on that side. Meaning that the Pass side gets more abuse and can even hit buy the structures holding the wash equipment.

You need to talk to the wash manager and see if they have had Raptors (Gen1 or Gen2) go though with out any issues. Other then a Dually pick up or and Hummer H1 the Raptor is the widest body truck out there, any other Ford F series is as much as 8" narrower and that makes a big difference in the car wash.

you just have to check with the car wash to find out if its wide enough for the truck. i know in pismo the chevron has a wash and its wide enough for our trucks. i have been through it a few time, but i usually wait for the rain and haul ass through puddles to wash it
