Hi,

I am very close to purchasing some Deaver leafs. I have been seeing and hearing different things about them settling over time.

Some say they don't settle at all

Some say they settle 3/4"

Some say they have settled a couple inches

Just curious what peoples individual experiences have been with them. I am leaning towards getting +2's...not sure if that matters for settling compared to +3's or +1's but would interested in any and all feedback. Thanks!

Most have had little settling. Mine settled a lot. About 3" in a month.
They are +3 by the way.

Thanks @Labraptor and @Huck. Does anyone know If there is a standard of how much they settle? Do most settle 3/4" or most don't really settle at all?

I'd imagine that the more real off-road in that you do, the more likely they are to settle/sag...right?

Everything with settle, even coil springs settle. There's no direct formula for how much they will settle or sag for that matter.

3" !!! Do you know what the measurements were from ground to fender flare when you torque all the bolts while all the weight was on them?
Are you using a drop shackle?

3" on +3 settling means you're now at 42 to 42 1/2" from ground to rear fender flare, right?

I'm glad that I live within 30 minutes of Deavers headquarters, can always bring them back if any issues like Labraptor had. So if @Labraptor started really high, how high was his to start with? @Huck you said that you had issues with National Leafs sagging like this. Is this just something that could happen if you are hard enough on them?
