Just did this! Took about 30 minutes with me really taking my time... but I could definitely tell a difference after. Thanks for the suggestion!

I have had some left over dynamat in my garage from another project and decided to wrap the stock enclosure. Wow what a difference, this is not earth shattering but you can tell a 35% increase in bass out put from stock.

Yes I know bass is misspelled in the title I can’t fix it

I did mine today and there is a noticeable improvement.

Just finished this project. Super easy to get to the sub if you put the driver side seat down. (Release and lift up the bottom portion of the seat slightly then reach behind the back part of seat and feel for the latch on the top driver side) Sub comes right out by undoing three 1/2” bolts. To fully wrap box you need about 12 square feet of dynamat.

My honest opinion is that it makes a slight difference, it by no means answers the crappy B&O sub issue.

All of you that cancelled ANC say this thing that makes no sense to me. Car is either quieter or its not. It cannot be quieter and yet you can hear other noises that you didn't hear before. That means its not quieter!



I trust Ford engineers to know a bit more about sound engineering than enthusiasts with forscan (me included). I am super happy with the highway legs of this car and its low NVH and happy to leave it as it is.

It's just different - your ears aren't being fed noises to cancel other noises so you can hear other things in the cabin - I turned off the ANC too - it is quieter

I wrapped the entire box (front, back, sides, top, bottom).

I concentrated more on the back and did most of the front. I didn't remove the woofer as I didn't want to risk creating an air leak that could create strange sounds.

Took 30-40 min.

I like the results. I can hear bass coming from rear cabin.
