Just completed this mod on the sub and the center dash speaker. I'm no audiophile but it might be an improvement. I can't really tell. It might sound better. Is it because of the fat mat, maybe. The placebo effect, maybe. Is it the same, maybe. Would I do it again, 100%! It was a fun little thing to do and cheap as chips comparatively. For those on the fence, I'd recommend this.

*edit* Ok, the above post was listening to my music while the truck was off and in the garage. I just went for my first drive and have changed my mind. I can definitely tell the difference. The sound is solid and full. Very happy I did this. Thanks fellas for posting this up!
